Traditional sacrificial anode material, particularly suitable for saltwater use.

Aluminium

Marine-grade sacrificial anode suitable for saltwater and brackish water applications.

Magnesium

Designed primarily for freshwater use.

Magnesium is not recommended for regular saltwater use.

Important Compatibility Information

This kit does not fit every Yamaha 200 HP, 225 HP or 250 HP outboard.

Yamaha used different trim tabs and anode configurations depending on the exact engine model, year, gearcase and rotation.

Before ordering, please check:

• Exact Yamaha engine model

• Engine year

• Engine serial number

• Standard or counter-rotating gearcase

• Original Yamaha anode part numbers

• Existing anode shapes and mounting positions

If the parts look the same as yours, this does not always mean they are the correct parts for your outboard.
