High-quality marine-grade aftermarket power trim & tilt solenoid relay for selected Tohatsu outboard engines from 25 HP to 140 HP.
Suitable for selected conventional 2-stroke and TLDI Tohatsu outboards using the corresponding Tohatsu trim relay configuration.
Designed to control electrical power to the power trim & tilt motor and provide reliable UP / DOWN trim operation.

Some Tohatsu power trim systems use separate UP and DOWN relays.
Please check the relay being replaced and compare:
- Original Tohatsu part number
- Wire configuration
- Electrical terminals
- Connector arrangement
- Mounting arrangement

Do NOT order this relay by horsepower or appearance alone.
Tohatsu used different trim relay arrangements depending on the engine model and production period.
Before purchasing, please check:
- Engine horsepower
- Full Tohatsu model
- 2-Stroke / TLDI
- Model year
- Engine serial number
- Original relay part number
- Electrical connections
- Wiring configuration
If the relay looks the same as yours, this does not always mean it is the correct relay for your outboard.
Common Symptoms of a Faulty Trim Relay
A faulty power trim relay may cause:
- Trim motor not operating
- Trim working UP but not DOWN
- Trim working DOWN but not UP
- Intermittent trim operation
- Relay clicking but trim motor not operating
- Trim motor operating only occasionally
These symptoms can also be caused by other electrical or hydraulic faults.
Before replacing the relay, we recommend checking:
- Battery condition
- Battery voltage
- Battery terminals
- Earth / ground connections
- Trim motor
- Trim switches
- Wiring
- Electrical connectors
Important – Electrical Part
Electrical components should be correctly diagnosed before ordering.
Electrical parts that have been fitted or installed cannot be returned unless faulty.
If you are unsure whether the relay is causing the fault, we recommend testing the power trim & tilt electrical system before replacing components.

Standard Delivery

We offer free delivery on all orders over £150 (excludes outboard engines).
Orders placed before 1:00 PM (Monday-Friday) are usually dispatched the same working day.
Most parcels are delivered within 24 hours, but please allow extra time for courier delays that may occur outside our control.
For outboard engines, please contact us for a delivery quote.
Important: Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing checkout. SSI Marine is not responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect address provided by the buyer.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email (after 5 PM on the day of dispatch).
Tracking is available only for parcels sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24.
Large Letter orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post (untracked).
Returns
We accept returns of unused and undamaged items within 30 days of purchase.
Returned items must be in sellable condition and include the original packaging.
Please do not tape, label, or write directly on the product's original box.
Important: Do not return items in their original product boxes only, they must be placed inside a protective outer box or bag. Parcels returned like the example below will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Please include your order details and reason for return inside the parcel.
Refunds
Refunds are issued for the item purchase price only (shipping costs are non-refundable).
All refunds will be made using the same payment method as your original order.
Items returned in poor condition or without proper packaging may incur a 20% restocking fee.
