Left or Right Hand Installation

Fully Adjustable Installation

The remote control can be configured for:

This makes it a very useful replacement control box for custom and older boat installations where an engine-specific control box may not be required.

Push or Pull Throttle Operation

The throttle operation can be configured according to the installation.

Riviera confirms reversible throttle direction on its mechanical side-mount controls.

Neutral Throttle / Engine Warm-Up

The control provides a neutral throttle / warm-up function, allowing engine RPM to be increased without engaging the gearbox.

This is particularly useful when:

• Starting a cold engine
• Warming the engine
• Increasing idle speed when required

Riviera specifies acceleration in neutral for engine warm-up on this control family.

Safe Gear & Throttle Operation

The single-lever design provides combined control of:

Forward → Neutral → Reverse

together with throttle operation.

The system is designed to provide smooth and controlled gear selection while helping prevent accidental gear engagement during neutral warm-up operation.

Cable Compatibility

Designed for use with common mechanical marine control cable systems.

Your existing description specifies compatibility with:

• C2 / 33C / 3300-type cables
• C8 cables
• C14 cables

C5 / Mercury-Type Cables

Your Riviera installation can also be configured for selected C5 / Mercury-type applications, but the cable/end fitting must be suitable for the control.

IMPORTANT

Different manufacturers can use different cable end fittings and retainers even when cables appear similar.

Please check your existing cable type and connections before ordering.

If you are unsure, contact SSI Marine with pictures/details of your existing cables and control system.
