CDI Electronics confirms the 114-7509 replacement against these Mercury 827509-series references.

Important – A10 vs T7

On some Mercury engines, 827509A10 and 827509T7 can be used in different cylinder positions on the same engine.

For example, Mercury application information shows 827509A7 superseding to 827509T7, while 827509A4 supersedes to 827509A10.

Therefore, do not replace a CDM based only on appearance.

Check the number fitted to the individual cylinder position or verify using the engine serial number.
