This coil does NOT fit every Johnson / Evinrude 4–300 HP engine.

Johnson / Evinrude used several different ignition coil designs across similar horsepower and year ranges.

Before ordering, please check:

• Original ignition coil part number

• Engine horsepower

• Engine model number

• Model year

• Electrical connection

• Mounting arrangement

If the coil looks the same as yours, this does not always mean it is the correct part for your outboard.

These should not automatically be treated as interchangeable.
