Important – Check Your Part Number

Yamaha used different carburettor repair kits on similar 40 HP 2-stroke engines.

In particular:

6E9-W0093-02 and 6E9-W0093-03 are different applications.

The 6E9-W0093-03 kit is listed for selected 40QEZ / 40QWC (1997–1998) and C40 2-cylinder (1995–1998) applications.

Therefore, please do not order by horsepower or year alone.

Check:

Exact engine model
Engine serial number
Original carburettor / repair kit part number

If the parts look the same as yours, this does not always mean they are correct for your outboard.

If unsure, send SSI Marine your engine model and complete serial number and we will help check compatibility.

Buyer Responsibility

It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

With the large number of Yamaha engine models, generations and carburettor configurations, please double-check suitability before ordering.
