Important – Electrical Part

Do not order by horsepower or appearance alone.

Suzuki used different regulator/rectifier assemblies depending on the engine model, year and specification.

Before ordering, please check:

Engine model
Engine serial number
Original regulator part number
Electrical connector and wiring configuration

If replacing a failed regulator, we recommend checking the battery, stator output, earth connections, wiring and connectors before fitting the replacement.

Electrical parts that have been fitted or installed cannot be returned unless faulty.

Buyer Responsibility

It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm compatibility with the engine model and serial number before purchase.

If the regulator looks the same as yours, this does not always mean it is the correct part for your outboard.

If you are unsure, send SSI Marine your engine model and serial number and we will be happy to check compatibility.
