Important – Electrical Part

Please diagnose the engine fault before purchasing.

Exciter coil faults can have similar symptoms to problems with the ignition coil, CDI/ignition module, pulser coil, stator, regulator/rectifier or wiring.

Electrical parts that have been fitted or installed cannot be returned unless faulty.

If you are unsure, please send SSI Marine your:

Engine HP
Full engine model
Engine serial number
Original part number

We will be happy to check compatibility before you order.

Buyer Responsibility

It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm compatibility with the engine model and serial number before purchase.

Do not order by horsepower or appearance alone. If the part looks the same as yours, this does not always mean it is the correct part for your outboard.
