Replaces Johnson Evinrude part number 398873.

Fitted around the propeller shaft housing behind the propeller, helping protect the lower unit against galvanic corrosion.

Available in Zinc or Aluminium.

Zinc: Particularly suitable for saltwater use.
Aluminium: Suitable for saltwater and brackish water applications.

Fits selected Johnson and Evinrude 2-stroke outboards:

40 HP – 1990–2005
48 HP – Selected models, 1990–2005
50 HP – 1990–2005

Primarily suitable for selected carburetted engines with the smaller gearcase.

Important: Fitment depends on the engine model, year and gearcase configuration. Not every engine within these HP ranges uses this anode.
