Why Replace Your Bracket Anode?

Sacrificial anodes help protect important outboard components by corroding in place of surrounding metal parts.

Regular inspection and replacement can help:

Reduce galvanic corrosion
Protect the outboard bracket assembly
Reduce corrosion-related damage
Maintain the engine's corrosion protection system
Extend the service life of surrounding metal components

Inspect the anode during routine servicing and replace it when significantly worn or damaged.

Do not paint or coat sacrificial anodes, as this can prevent them from working correctly.
